Early Guilford Days

Early Guilford Days is a collaborative community and school program that brings Guilford's colonial history to life for fourth-grade students. Throughout the school year, students participate in hands-on activities using historical artifacts and educational materials that explore daily life in early Guilford. The program culminates each spring with immersive living history workshops at the Thomas Griswold House and Hyland House, where students experience the skills, traditions, and stories of Guilford's earliest residents.
