Our Mission: To collect, preserve and share the history of Guilford, Connecticut for present and future generations.
The collection contains about 31 photographs encompassing tintypes, photo cards and photo prints. They were donated by Elizabeth M.A. Cuthbert, in 2011. The images compliment the pre-existing Stone Collection papers. William Stone (1857-1954) & Elizabeth Stone (died 1952) lived at 22 Broad St. He was related to John Stone and William Leete of Guilford. The collection also includes photo cards of Guilford’s famous poet, Fritz-Greene Halleck.
